The Arctic Flora of Canada and Alaska – An international project that aims to produce a new flora for all vascular plants in the Arctic ecozone in Canada and northern Alaska. The Arctic Flora will eventually serve as the reference tool for anybody who requires accurate and up-to-date information on Arctic plant species.

The University of Manitoba Cryptogamic Herbarium of the Department of Biological Sciences (WIN) contains approximately 15,000 specimens of lichens and bryophytes, with over 5,500 records available on Canadensys and GBIF. Cladonia collections from Manitoba and Newfoundland, and lichen specimens from Wapusk National Park, comprise a large part of this collection.
